The Leadership Team is comprised of experienced and respected professionals whose expertise and qualifications come from industry-leading organizations.


Gregory S. Campbell is the Chairman of the Board of Managers. He is also the Senior Managing Partner of CD Ventures (CDV) and serves as a Director on the Boards of ACCT Holdings, LLC, MRCG Holdings, LLC and Nova Records Management, LLC - three of CDV's portfolio companies. Prior to founding CDV, Greg was a founder and CEO of five additional companies; American Healthfund, Inc., Advacore, Inc. (NASDAQ), Home Medical Systems, Inc. and Intech Associates, L.P. He was also President of AmeriGas, Inc. (now Amerigas Partners, L.P. (NYSE)). Greg received a B.S. in Engineering from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Science in Industrial Administration from Purdue University.


Steven M. Hankin is the Chief Executive Officer. Prior to joining Sentient, Steve was the Chief Marketing Officer and President of Starwood Technology and Revenue Systems (STARS), a subsidiary of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. In his role as CMO, Steve was responsible for brand marketing, brand operations and creative services. STARS combines Starwood's technology development, customer marketing, and distribution activities globally. Under his tutelage these groups maximized the profitable revenue stream to Starwood's hotels. Before joining Starwood, Steve was a Partner at McKinsey & Company, Inc., the international management-consulting firm. Steve holds an M.B.A. from the Darden School of the University of Virginia and a BS from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.


John Bax is the Chief Financial Officer. John comes to the Company from Wal-Mart Stores, where he was most recently Vice President of Planning and Analysis, responsible for financial & strategic planning and analysis for the world's largest company. Prior to his work in the Wal-Mart home office, John was the CFO of Brisbane, California-based Walmart.com, where he led all finance functions as well as merchandise planning, legal and real estate. John joined Walmart.com as Controller at its start-up and built the financial team that supported Walmart.com's phenomenal growth. Before Wal-Mart, John served as Senior Manager in the Audit and Center for Strategic Transactions practices at Ernst & Young, LLP. John received his M.B.A. from Oklahoma State University, as well as his B.S. in accounting, and was a Silver Medal winner on the Certified Public Accountant exam.


Drew Bedson is Senior Vice President of Operations. Drew has deep aviation experience in both the FAA Part 135 and FAA Part 121 world. He was the Senior Vice President of Air Operations for Atlantic Southwest Arlines for many years and most recently led the turnaround at Skyway Airline, the regional jet subsidiary for Midwest Airlines. He has a graduate degree in management from Trenton State and a Bachelor of Science in Technical Services Aviation from Edison State.


Jake Cartwright is the President of Sentient Aircraft Management. Prior to Sentient, Jake was President and CEO of TAG Aviation USA. A Princeton graduate, Jake began his aviation career as a United States Marine Corps pilot flying the F-4 Phantom which he flew during his tour of duty in Vietnam. He is an Airline Transport Pilot with over 10,000 hours of flight time in jet aircraft. Jake has served on the Associate Member Advisory Council of the National Business Aviation Association and on the Board of Directors for the National Air Transportation Association.


Bradford L. Drew is Senior Vice President of Sales of Sentient Charter and Sentient Jet Membership. Brad brings to Sentient over 20 years experience with American Express Financial Advisors as a group Vice President. In this role, Brad provided leadership to a sales force of more than 300 financial advisors and held responsibility for $30 million annually in new sales commissions. Brad began his career with American Express as a certified financial planner and financial advisor. Brad was also a Region Director for IDS Life Insurance Company (a wholly owned subsidiary of Amex) and was Managing Region Director for the east senior region. Brad holds an MBA from Suffolk University and a BS in business management from Bentley College.


Marty Guinoo is Senior Vice President of Network and Fleet Management. In this role, Marty heads up Fleet Management, strategy, process, and company-wide training. Marty comes to the Company from Starwood Hotels & Resorts, where he was Director of Pricing Strategy. While at Starwood, Marty was responsible for driving both revenue and market share working on product development as well as with the corporate sales team. Prior to Starwood, Marty was Director of Operations Research for Priceline.com, a leading online travel provider, where he focused on product development and pricing strategy. Before Priceline.com, Marty was a Management Consultant for SH&E of Cambridge, MA where he focused on Network Planning and Revenue Management for major airlines. Marty received a B.A. from Harvard College.


Robert Lewis is Senior Vice President of Field Operations, where he is responsible the company's supply network, purchasing programs and ground services group. Rob was formerly a senior manager in Deloitte Consulting's Strategy and M&A Practice. Rob was also a Management Consultant at PA Consulting's Strategy & Risk Management practice working with Fortune 500 and start-up companies. Rob served in the United States Navy as a Nuclear Submarine Officer and is an instrument-rated private pilot. Rob received his B.S. in Physics from the US Naval Academy and his M.B.A. from Columbia University's Graduate School of Business.


William McLendon is President of JetCorp Technical Services. Prior to joining JetCorp, Bill was a Senior Vice President for Pomeroy IT Solutions, where he oversaw nationwide field service operations of 3000 technical services agents. Previously, he held executive positions in Ranger Aerospace, Aircraft Service International Group, and Stevens Aviation, where he directed a variety of aviation operations including MRO, FBO, airfield services, and business strategy. Bill holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Air Force Academy, where he graduated first in his class. He then attended Oxford University, England, as a Rhodes Scholar and earned a Master of Arts degree. While in the United States Air Force, he served as an Instructor Pilot in the F-15 Eagle.


Thomas Mealie is Senior Vice President of Maintenance. Prior to joining the Sentient Flight Group, Tom was the Staff Vice President of Maintenance, Quality and FAA Liaison for NetJets. Tom joined NetJets in 2004 as VP, Quality and FAA Liaison and quickly rose to this senior leadership position, overseeing all maintenance department functions at NetJets. Prior to NetJets, Tom had extensive maintenance experience in FAA Part 121 operations, with positions as the Vice President of Maintenance and Engineering at Kitty Hawk International and Allegheny Airlines. Tom began his career with Mohawk Airlines as an Airframe and Power Plant Mechanic.


Sheryle Milligan is Senior Vice President of Safety, Security & Regulatory Compliance. Prior to joining the Sentient Flight Group, Sheryle was a Partner with Murray Air Certifications, where she assisted many companies in the FAA Part 121, 125 and 135 Certification processes, meeting not only FAA requirements, but also CSET and ATOS requirements. One of these assignments included assisting NetJets through their formal application process for the 121 Air Carrier Certification for their Gulfstream program. Murray Air Certifications is one of only five nationally certified consulting firms approved by the FAA to do Part 121 Air Carrier start-ups. Prior to joining Murray Air Certifications, Sheryle was the Manager of Compliance for BizJet Charter, Inc. d.b.a AVOLAR and Director of Compliance for AVOLAR and Automotive Air Charter/DaimlerChrysler. Sheryle is a noted contributor in three editions of the Aviation Management Courseware for Eastern Michigan University's Business Aviation Management Degree Program where she holds her degree in Business Management.


Cheryl Schley is Vice President of Human Resources. Cheryl is a seasoned human resources professional with experience across multiple industries including high technology, publishing and marketing professional services. Previously, she was Vice President of Compensation, Benefits and HR Systems at Digitas, Inc. Cheryl received her MBA in Human Resources and Finance and her Bachelor of Science in Management from the State University of New York at Buffalo.


Matt Sevick is Vice President of Corporate Development, where he is responsible for Sentient Flight Group's longer term partnerships and initiatives. Matt was formerly a senior director at Wal-Mart Stores, Inc., responsible for the US strategy team. Matt was also a Management Consultant at Monitor Consulting in Cambridge, MA and Johannesburg, South Africa working with large companies, governments and private equity investors. Matt received his B.A. in Economics from Harvard College and his M.B.A. from Stanford University's Graduate School of Business.


Caroline Shin is Senior Vice President of Client Services. Previously, Caroline was at Starwood Hotels and Resorts Worldwide as Director of Customer Relationship Management, where she created tailored guest treatment plans to improve customer satisfaction, retention and profitability. Additionally, she also served as Director of Revenue Management, overseeing pricing strategies for Starwood's Mid-Atlantic region. Before joining Starwood, Caroline was Senior Director of Product Management at the travel start-up company, Hotwire.com. Prior to Hotwire, Caroline was a Management Consultant at Accenture and SBI and Co. Caroline holds a B.S. in nuclear engineering from Massachusetts Institute of Technology.


Greg Torski is Vice President of Information Technology. Previously, Greg was a Principal with Infology, a strategic information technology consulting firm. His primary engagement was with NetJets, where he acted as Program Manager for a variety of technology projects supporting the requirements of the Flight Center and Maintenance Departments. Greg also helped NetJets to establish their Project Office for SOX Compliant IT Governance. Prior to Infology, Greg was the EVP of Operations and Chief Technology Officer for Michael Anthony Jewelers, an international jewelry manufacturing and distribution company. Greg received his M.B.A. from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University and his Bachelors of Science in Industrial Engineering from Lehigh University.


Kevin S. Vaughan is Chief Marketing Officer. Prior to joining the company, Kevin was Senior Vice President of Customer Marketing and Distribution for Starwood Hotels. In this role, he was responsible for the company's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) efforts, building a direct marketing capability, developing and managing relationships with a broad range of partners and managing corporate distribution programs. While at Starwood he also held the positions of Vice President of Interactive Marketing and Vice President of Strategic Planning. Before Starwood, Kevin spent five years in management consulting with McKinsey & Co and three years in brand management with Procter & Gamble. Kevin holds an M.B.A. from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a B.A. from Duke University.
